Meet the Team

George and Lisa Otis
George and Lisa Otis met while serving in Youth With A Mission during the 1970s and have been involved in international mission work ever since. Today George serves as president of The Sentinel Group, providing vision and direction, producing media, building a network of global relationships and developing teaching/training as he observes the Holy Spirit’s handiwork in the nations. He also serves as chief fundraiser and administrator for the ministry. Lisa assists George in executive communications and correspondence, travel logistics and project management, and provides accounting and HR support to the ministry.
Charles Barbosa
Charles Barbosa joined our team in 2006 after meeting up with George for years at international gatherings and discovering like minds and hearts. Brazilian by birth, Charles is a graduate of Christ for the Nations and had lived in Houston for more than a decade before shifting to Seattle. As Director of Global Outreach & Partnerships, he serves the international transformations movement via networking, coordination of international events, and helping George to both bring and receive input from the nations.
Pete Berg
Pete Berg, a Southern California transplant, has served as Art Director for the past ten years. Bringing a wide range of experience in both non-profit and commercial markets, he is responsible for the graphic presentation of Sentinel’s message via print and video. A sampling of Pete’s extraordinary gifting can be seen in the children’s book, Seal of Faith, a companion to the Transformations II DVD.

Makela Kaleohano
Makela Kaleohano, originally from Hawaii, serves as receptionist/administrative assistant — receiving incoming calls and mail, processing orders and answering questions. With her degree in accounting, she serves alongside Lisa in overseeing the finance department. After serving on mission trips to Haiti, Makela has a real heart to see transformation touch this nation.
Brook Otis
Brook Otis serves full-time in the media department as a cameraman and editor. Over the past several years, he has carried a video camera around the world to capture footage for Let the Sea Resound, An Unconventional War and Approaching Fire. More recently, he produced a short video titled The Hebrides Revival: A Retrospective. He is currently editing the brand new 50+-hour curriculum, Journey to Transformation.
Daron Otis
Daron Otis is a recent graduate of North Sound Christian High School and is interested in pursuing training in media. At present, he packages up and ships out resource orders here at the Sentinel offices on a part-time basis. He has had the privilege of traveling to several nations with his dad and is contemplating a Discipleship Training School or film school somewhere in the world.
Carol Saia
Carol Saia handles the significant information flow into our offices. She reviews incoming reports from around the world, alongside news George and the IFTP bring in from the nations, to support the new GlowTorch website. In addition, Carol proofreads, organizes our in-house archives and researches as needed to assist projects. After decades of ministry in India, Afghanistan, Holland and here in the USA, Carol has been blessed to encourage people to pray for God’s transforming work in their own communities and nations.

Steve Loopstra
Steve Loopstra and his wife, Marilou relocated from Minneapolis in August of 2009, and are living in Monroe, WA. Steve is the former director of Prayer Transformation Ministries, and now on the Sentinel staff is busy giving oversight to a new and dynamic website for The Sentinel Group, as well as serving as U.S. liaison for the Journey to Transformation process.  Steve’s testimony is that transforming revival has become a part of his "DNA," and his  passionate prayer is to see transforming revival break out all across our nation as a testimony to God’s glory.
